How to read the result

  • Native search is freshest. Google only shows posts it has indexed, so it lags by hours on X and Threads and misses most of Facebook and Instagram.
  • Put buyer phrases in quotes, like "looking for a bookkeeper". A bare category word returns news and ads.
  • Most platforms need you to be logged in to search. Reddit, YouTube, Bluesky and Hacker News work logged out.
  • Doing this every day by hand is the job a monitoring tool does for you.
