Subreddit Stats: Members, Activity and Top Posts
What this tells you
Type a subreddit to see its member count, how many posts it gets a day, how many comments a new post typically gets, and its top posts this month. Reddit hid member counts from community pages in September 2025; this reads them from Reddit's public data.
Reddit · free tool
Public Reddit data, cached for up to a day. Times are in your local time zone.
The formula
posts per day = last 100 new posts ÷ days between the oldest and newest · avg comments = mean comments on those 100 posts · top posts = this month's top 5 by score
How to read the result
- Members tell you reach, posts per day tells you whether anyone is still there. A 2M-member subreddit with 3 posts a day is a museum.
- Low average comments on new posts means most posts get ignored. Your post needs a strong title to be the exception.
- Read the top posts before you post. They show the format and tone that subreddit rewards.
